The earth is falling down now
the whispers going round now
how violently she died
the epileptic bride...

Child born without defect
Mishap gave her to neglect
falling rendered her imperfect
family gave her no respect

Longing,lonely, she rebelled
married one handicapped like herself
left the ones who knew her well
went to live in hell

Her life's last day she was depressed
called the people she knew best.
Grandma, mama, sisters, brothers.
all too busy to be bothered.

No one cared or sensed her danger.
She died breathless amid strangers.
And in her wedding dress she lay
surrounded by those who turned her away...

they argued over her earthly possessions
who deserved most to receive
