Bread on the waters

Put your bread on the waters
and let it go.
Don't worry where it goes
you'll probably never know
for the Lord feeds the many
and chooses just a few
and the bread you give freely
will come back to you

There are many things worth having
they give us reasons for living
the greatest is loving
which gives us reasons for giving
because everybody bleeds
and everyone has needs
and our worth is measured by
what we do and believe

So put your bread upon the waters
don't worry where it goes.
It's still out there somewhere
that only God knows.
And someday if you're lonely
and needing a friend.
The bread you gave away
will come around to you again.

Behold, I say unto you, wickedness never was happiness. --------------------------

Wickedness is not happiness.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22

20. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.21. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If we are made alive again, will we be grateful for being made alive and happy to be alive?

by Rl Tracy on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 8:07am

5. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:6. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think about this scripture a lot as pertaining to my family.
Some people have told me it is not to be taken literally.
I am not so sure. I have always thought that parents and
their children should love each other, and hoped that my children
and their father would love each other in the sense
that they would take good care of each other, be kind to each other
and care about each others' feelings.

I think a major part of the problems in our world
are caused by self centered parents and children,
lack of compassion and kindness, lack of responsibility.
I think those problems are caused by lack of caring
of people toward one another.

The divorce has been a nightmarish thing.
So was the marriage. So were the dating years.
I can't honestly look anyone in the face and
recommend these activities to them.
I would feel as though I were recommending
pain and sorrow to them.

I have hopes, but no expectations.
I want to heal broken families, especially mine
but I don't believe remarriage would solve anything.
I think if I look for someone and find them
I will be showing the very example I want to avoid,
passing on the idea that people are replaceable
and contributing to the problem of not taking
personal relationships seriously.

I don't want to leave behind a bunch of people
with the attitude Cain had toward his brother Abel
when I die. I think that is a big problem in the world.
I can see it rising up in my family.
I think it causes divorce.
I think it is wrong to trivialize another human being.
I can't say I have never done it
but I never feel okay about it.

I think Malachi was partly talking about the practice of
seeing each other through critical eyes
and passing judgment, especially on family members.
It is an unloving way to be.

30. But this much I can tell you, that if ye do not watch yourselves, and your thoughts, and your words, and your deeds, and observe the commandments of God, and continue in the faith of what ye have heard concerning the coming of our Lord, even unto the end of your lives, ye must perish. And now, O man, remember, and perish not.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can attest to the truth in this scripture.
It is so hard to keep negatives where
they will not harm anyone.

3. For of him unto whom much is given much is required;
and he who sins against the greater light shall receive
the greater condemnation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been given much, more than I think I should have.
I am so grateful for what I have been given,
but I am unable to express my gratitude in
an acceptable form.

12. And now, my sons, remember, remember
that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer,
who is Christ, the Son of God,
that ye must build your foundation;
that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds,
yea, his shafts in the whirlwind,
yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you,
it shall have no power over you to drag you down
to the gulf of misery and endless wo,
because of the rock upon which ye are built,
which is a sure foundation,
a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. --------------------------------------------------------------
Faith can only be found in a place or person who is eternal.
I believe in Jesus as an eternal being, the true son of the living God.

19. For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This scripture is so important in its descriptiveness about the attributes a person must have to be a true son or daughter of God. It is a great struggle to maintain these attributes in a world like ours.

I wish it were easy sometimes.

Facebook observations

by Rl Tracy on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 8:29am

Facebook is set up as a giant courtroom, with family, friends and public as judges and jury, and unseen judges and jury with access to personal and/or privileged information. It is a marketing tool, it is a discovery tool, a recovery tool, or a tearing down tool. It can be used for missionary work, or accusations, as a social connector, or a social disconnector. It has great potential as a teaching tool, a documenting tool, a method of establishing credibility or proving flaws. As a teaching tool it can be used for both good and evil.

5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.

And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.

3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.4. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think about this, how Jesus was considered socially unacceptable
and His own people were ashamed of Him.
He has had everything that could be done to a person happen to Him,
and He understands.

I can't equal Him, I can't measure up to Him.
I wish I could have some measure of Him
His goodness and mercy mirrored in myself.

3. Neither shalt thou make marriages with them;
thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son,

that they may serve other gods:
so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you,
and destroy thee suddenly.

----------------------------------------------------

I think about this in relation to my divorce.
It isn't good to be married to despair.
If you have strong beliefs,

it is better to marry someone
who has similar beliefs and wants
to live them.

Utah Outpouring For Lori Hacking - CBS News

http://www.lacipeterson.com/

These things were going on when my marriage was coming to an end.

I never look at these women without knowing that I came very close to being

one of them, a club no one wants to join, the club of murdered spouses..

Why do people murder their spouses?

Feelings run too high I guess, based on unmet expectations or misplaced frustration.

I think also that one person wants to control the other person.

I only know, that I never want to feel that way with another person again.

I don't want to live in a world of disapproval and disappointment

because I can't match the image in some man's mind of what he wants

in a woman.

I never want another person to have the power to affect my life

in the way he did and has and is still doing.

I never want that for my children.

It is better to remain solitary than to be with someone who chases

rumors of grass that is greener in other pastures.

If I could ask one thing of God it would be to help appropriate

social relationships to always exist in my family that

will not allow the destruction of the most precious feelings that

bind the human race together. These are the feelings of caring and compassion

and trust and kindness. If those had not been lost,

Lori Hacking and Laci Peterson would still be alive,

and Elizabeth Smart would never have gone through the

ordeal she went through.

And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life,

according to the captivity and power of the devil;
for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself.

Margles left this morning for Youth Conference.
The Lakeridge Stake is doing a handcart trek this year,
and Margles was so excited to go.
We made two dresses for her, but she only took one
because the other was not finished. It was lacking its hems.

The wind has been blowing a lot today.
Margles did her own preparing for the trek.
I told her it might be pretty cold there and told her
she should take her winter coat.
I think she is up there without a coat though.
It is quite cool here in the valley, so it must be colder
where she is right now.
I wish I could reach her and take a blanket and
a coat to her. She must be freezing.
I hope she will be okay.

Good Timber by Douglas Malloch

by Rl Tracy on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 7:18am

The tree that never had to fight
For sun and sky and air and light
But stood out on the open plain
and always got its share of rain
never became a forest king
but lived and died a scrubby thing.

The man who never had to toil
to gain his farm and patch of soil
who never had to win his share
of sun and sky and light and air
never became a manly man
but lived and died as he began.

Good timber does not grow with ease
the stronger wind, the stronger trees
the further sky, the greater length
the more the storm, the more the strength
By sun and cold, by rain and snow
in trees and men good timber grow

Where thickest lies the forest growth
we find the patriarchs of both
and they hold counsel with the stars
whose broken branches show the scars
of many winds and much of strife
this is the common law of life.

3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Searching and finding by Andrea Morrill

by Rl Tracy on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 1:41pm

I used to search for rainbows
with pots of hidden gold
I used to climb the mountains
and cross o'er lands untold.

I used to watch the stars at night
for a single trace
of kindness in your thoughts and deeds
or actions filled with grace.

I used to hope your heart would be
one with God above
I also used to hope I'd be
the only one you'd love.

But now I see my selfishness
in wanting you to be
the type of man I'm looking for
I've got to start with me.

I used to count your honesty
as a "must be" trait
I hoped that you'd be handsome, tall,
as well as fun to date

and that your tender gentleness
would be just mine alone
respect would be ingrained in you
and confidence you'd own.

Your sense of humor used to be
important in my mind.
I somehow hoped that you would be
the perfect man I'd find.

But now I know these dreams of mine
are not reality.
To find those traits in you, my love,
they must be found in me.

Synopsis of events Monday through Sunday last week

by Rl Tracy on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 8:11am

Monday--Margles started school

Tuesday--Took Summer to the seminary open house.

Wednesday--Took Margles to school, Summer started school, Henry started school, Adam started school

Summer took the bus, Henry walked, I took Margles and Adam.

Alethea, Clarity, and Benjamin went along for the ride.  My school started too today.

Thursday--

Friday--The boys went to scout camp after school

Saturday--The boys returned from Scout camp just in time to leave for the impromptu visitation scheduled by their father.

Sunday--This morning I went to church.  There was a speaker topic that was painful, so I left the meeting, went to the 6th

ward  and  listened to the speakers there for a while, then returned to the 5th ward for the remainder of the meetings.

I left after the combined RS Priesthood meetings.  I picked up the kids at ACAFS @ 6:30pm.

That's a brief summary.

Monday through Wednesday

by Rl Tracy on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:53am

Monday the trash went out, I took Margles, Henry, and Adam to school,we made some progress on the home school.  Summer has asked to be taken out of school.  Hopefully something happens that changes her mind or a door is opened for her to make progress at her own pace.  Alethea was hit in the face by a softball hit with a lot of power.  After a blessing administered by our neighbors Brother Peterson and Brother Allen, healing began immediately.  I watched her face change as I held her at the hospital during her examinations, CAT scan and eventual release. The examinations and scan revealed her nose had been broken on the right side The next morning, her black eye had cleared some, and the swelling was down. Whatever  others may say about the resilience of children, I believe a miracle occurred.

Love can't be a competition, or a prize to be won, but must be a cooperation among people

interested in a common goal.  This goal bonds them, and cannot be attained solely by physical means

although some physical efforts are involved in the process.

Love itself establishes or causes a need for and establishment of propriety, respect, responsiveness, responsibility.

When love is gone, so are the refinements of society, and society loses its conscience and ceases to go through

the motions after a while.

How to fix Congress--Forwarded e-mail message

by Rl Tracy on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:14am

This message was forwarded to me via e-mail from Diane Ferre.  I do not know for sure if she is the person who sent it since people can and will do what they want on the internet often using the name and face of another.

<span> </span>

Subject: FW: How to fix Congress
If each person contacts a minimum of twelve people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message.  Maybe it is time.THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

A friend sent this along to me. I can't think of a reason to disagree.    I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between.  Even though we disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends.  My friend and neighbor wants to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2010."  It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I know many of you will say "this is impossible."  Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval rating of any entity in Government. Now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that represents us.  We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House.  These people will become American heroes. **********************************

Congressional Reform Act of 2010 1. Term Limits. 12 years only, one of the possible options below..A. Two Six-year Senate termsB. Six Two-year House termsC. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

2.  No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. 3.  Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately.  All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. 4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.  Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/11. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.  Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.  The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work. If you agree with the above, pass it on.   If not, just delete.

And yet, the majority of people in the United States do just that.  What happened to the people who used to celebrate life, harvest, the hand of the Lord in all His goodness?

Mirage

by Rl Tracy on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:09am

Falling broken to my knees in the desert sands,

heat waves rising all around, saguaros start to dance.

through a haze I seem to see,

rippling water and windswept trees.

Mirage, only an illusion.

Created in my mind, increasing my confusion.

Only an optical image,

it's just a mirage...

Fool that I am, I stagger to my feet

racing like a lunatic through the desert heat

filled with urgent desires I can't resist

to capture a dream that doesn't exist.

through a haze I seem to see,

rippling water and windswept trees...

Just a mirage,

just a mirage,

A prayer

by Rl Tracy on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 12:51pm

Please God, give me back the years

laid waste by sorrow and useless tears

that ran like rivers and washed away

the hopes and dreams of yesterday

Please fill my heart with love again

the wonder that I felt back when

the world was new and filled with grace

and simple joys now erased...

Help me find the spirit then

to feel alive in thee again

and rest my faith in thy dear hands

submit my will to thy commands...

And I be content to live my part

to live with Heaven in my heart

no more to seek a bitter end

and be thy child again

Seems all my natural numbers

But with the right coefficient

factors would all be prime

divisible only by one other number and mine.

As quantification formats all relations

statistics decay in their allocations

Plotting slopes lose the origin

infinte, opposite neither side wins.

But with the right coefficient

Qualifications

by Rl Tracy on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 9:34am

It can't be just a pretty face or unblemished skin

or eloquent words or the cut and style of clothing

Those things I appreciate they are ornaments of you

but they can't be the sole reasons for love that is true

All people have desires based on common needs

to eat, sleep, breathe,to love, trust, and believe

These needs bind people together or tear them apart

They motivate the spirit and activate the heart

Love can't be unconditional based on conditions

exceptions must exist to mediate convictions

For love to live and grow, intolerance must die

end the unremitting horrors of social suicide.

17. But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.

Business Law

by Rl Tracy on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:23am

I used to work in a sewing factory in Lehi. I think sweat shop sewing is much easier than trying to understand the thousands of ways people swindle each other. I'm glad I'm not going into law as a profession, but I don't see how I can keep out of court if I don't learn this stuff. It seems like a person can land in court just for breathing through the wrong windpipe.

The kids were with their father this weekend. My two oldest refused to go with him. I had a weekend of housecleaning and homework planned but it didn't happen because my daughters dragged me away to see the Great Salt Lake. They took off their shoes and went wading. We listened to General Conference all the way. My daughter drives so I can do projects while she is at the wheel, but I can't study because my kids need my ears. They like talking to me. Thank goodness I have kids who will talk to me. Some parents aren't as lucky as I am.

Funny. It's hard to think about business law when caught up in the everyday life stuff, but it really affects just about everything we do doesn't it?

And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.

27. Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself.

4. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

5. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

Overnight campout for the boys--9 Apr 2010

by Rl Tracy on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:21am

Henry and Benjamin went on their overnight campout with Brothers Stanger, Barnes, and Winget last night. They went up Diamond Fork Canyon. They came back this morning feeling pretty cold because they didn't dress warm enough and just took one blanket, sleeping bag, and pillow apiece.
They smelled like campfire.

I hope the experience helps them to think about what it really takes to survive and how dependent we have become on the luxuries civilization has to offer. I hope that it helps them recognize that we have experienced great mercy from God, our family, our community. Maybe they will become aware this way of the need to conserve and prepare.

Life is fragile, easy to lose, easy to destroy, and we are all subject to the will of God.
Life's lessons aren't easy to learn. There is no easy way.
Experience is the best teacher, but it can hurt so much.
Sometimes in life you meet someone who has been through the pain,
knows where the hard parts are, and helps us through them.

Those are our angels. I hope my children will always use their experience
to help others, and not hurt them.

Proverbs 3:5-6

by Rl Tracy on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 6:59am

5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

The internet has been down for a few days,
and I haven't known how to fix it.
My family has become dependent on it for school,
communication and entertainment,
so when it is down, it becomes a real problem.

Today is CRT's for four of the kids.
The one thing we can count on in our lives,
the one most consistent thing is change.

We prayed for guidance and inspiration
and understanding to find the problem
and eventually a combination of things we tried
were successful in restoring the internet connection.

I am not sure specifically which things we tried
that worked, but I am willing to believe and admit
that divine guidance was the most essential part.

There are places we can't go
and people we can't know
There are barriers we can't cross
and so many hopes we've lost

But there are places we love
and a smile from God above
And the things that take us there
are the memories we share

Someday we'll be fragile
and too infirm to travel
much further than our beds
we'll go places in our heads
until there we must stay
as memories fade

But there are places we love
and a smile from God above
And we can still be there
with the memories we share

Mosiah 3:19

by Rl Tracy on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 4:23pm

19. For the natural man is an enemy to God,
and has been from the fall of Adam,
and will be, forever and ever,
unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit,
and putteth off the natural man
and becometh a saint
through the atonement of Christ the Lord,
and becometh as a child,
submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love,
willing to submit to all things
which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him,
even as a child doth submit to his father.

Margles has been reading "Lord of the Flies" for school.
I don't really think that book has improved society.
It has only described humanity's base attributes
through fictional representations.
There is nothing like putting
nightmares into peoples' minds to haunt them
for the rest of their lives
or show them examples to adopt.

If I want examples for my children to follow
I would rather pick Jesus,
than the " Lord of the Flies"

John 17:13-16 (KJV)

by Rl Tracy on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 4:07pm

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world,
that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them,
because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world,
but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the years categories mentioned as applied to people in the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have popped up in my life,
based on attitudes and tolerance levels among members.
I didn't really like the idea of categories at all
and didn't have enough experience early on to understand what they meant.
I loved seeing all church members as brothers and sisters.
They don't all feel that way, but so many have helped me...
Now I understand some of it after years and years
of being asked my denomination and being reacted to accordingly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jack Mormon--One who is or was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,
who may know the gospel principles and practices, but doesn't live them unless they suit his/her convenience.

Sunday Mormon--One who preaches and practices gospel principles on Sundays. The rest of the week, anything goes.

Churchy Mormon--One who keeps attributes of the Church around them and talks about church stuff regardless of what others want to do or talk about

Cultural Mormon--One who is Mormon by continuous exposure to the stories, beliefs, principles and customs pertaining to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

True and Faithful Mormon--One who practices what he/she says he/she believes in.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jack Mormons look like the worst out of these.

Sunday Mormons are actually the worst of all of these.
They are the most deceptive and destructive I think.
They are all surface and no substance.
They go to church for making contacts and doing business.
I'm not sure they believe in what they preach
except to use it as a survival tool.

The only hope for any people is to learn the truth by experience.

Experience is the best teacher, but hurts so much.
The innocent suffer most.

I believe in Heavenly Father's ability to preserve His word and His people.
I believe in His ability to change and refine and save anyone
regardless of what category they fit.

I know there are members of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
who are true and faithful
who do all the Lord asks them to do.
I do not want the church to cease existing.
I want to be one of those who is true and faithful in all things.
I don't want to be just a category,
but if I must be one, please let it be true and faithful?

Doctrine and Covenants 89:18-21

18. And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones;

19. And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures;

20. And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint.

21. And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I was in my 20's, reading Isaiah Chapter 5 in the Bible one day, I had a strange experience.
I thought I read as part of the scripture " Wo unto he who builds wall to wall, and house to house
till there be no place where a man may find himself alone, for he shall not be held blameless in the end"

Here is what it actually says:

8 ¶ Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place,
that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate,
even great and fair, without inhabitant.
10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of a homer shall yield an ephah.

Those who have overbuilt and charge high prices for the purpose of making as large a profit margin
as possible will not be held blameless in the end.
Despair is at a premium, and people are dying so someone can have their profit.
Why is money worth more than life to people?

Wouldn't that be so great?
I need that sort of reassurance and hope.
It is no fun living as scarlet.

by Rl Tracy on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 5:39am

10. Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;

15. And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!

16. And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The souls I know I am most responsible for
are my own and probably my children's
and the influence I might have on others.

It is my responsibility not to affect others
in a negative way.

I know that the things I go through

I know that Heavenly Father needs people
who are strong and faithful
who will not throw Him away
for love or money.
God can't be treated as a commodity.
Faith is things hoped for but not seen.
There are some things I have no faith in
but other things I have great faith in.
There are things I used to have no faith in
that I have great faith in now.
Faith can grow where no faith was before.
