Dreaming

Sometimes in sleep I dream
I have a million dollars
and all night long I think of things I'd do
If I had that million dollars
free to spend, that million dollars
I could make so many dreams come true

I'd have my debts and bills all paid
my house would be my own
Buy my family things they long for and require
I could enjoy my waking hours
sleep so peacefully at night
and this would be my heart's desire...

But I'm probably better off living in the dream.
A million dollars couldn't be as great as it seems
I'm only seeing good things and not the other side
The hurting, dark and bad things that dreams often hide
