Neighbor

If I had a million dollars
I would buy you happiness
wrapped in a sigh
and your loved one's caress

Just to see your face alight
with the smile I used to see
when you were young
and your heart was warm and free

Money can't buy happiness
money can't stop pain
But it could buy a roof
to protect you from the rain

I don't have a million dollars
just a memory
of one who was my neighbor
and priceless to me.
