Lonely wings

She opened up her lonely wings and flew away one night
Lifted up the heavy arms that suddenly felt light
and like a sea gull in the wind she took flight
Her spirit free, she flew away

She left no part of herself, nothing behind
No memories to burden them or harrow up their minds
If they tried to track her, no trace to find

What difference would it make if she left or stayed?
