When you enter the internet you are living through an experience someone has created for you, and environment deliberately developed to appeal to a certain part of your thoughts and feelings. Computers are dreamcatchers, receivers of our thoughts and feelings. Those thoughts and feelings are then stored in a database somewhere for future reference. We are in essence, documenting ourselves during a testing process. Our levels of response to addiction are recorded in the number of times we access a game, and advertisement, any website or image that appeals to us.
It is not wrong to play games. Through playing and experimenting we learn. It is only wrong, so to speak, to play games to the exclusion of all else then make others pay the price for our wasted time.
