People need someone to talk to
who won't misunderstand
who supports and comforts them
when their souls need help to stand
People may seem dissimilar
as if from different lands
Circumstance divides them
At first they may not understand
But put them together
out of their usual place
they'll find they have much in common
though each displays a different face
In the most wretched circumstance
destructive thoughts solidify
It's easy to lose focus
as events keep whizzing by
Sometimes it helps to talk
adjust and clarify
Put each thought back in it's place
and keep the soul alive
