Lullabye

The young men who were taken to fight and die in the wars were still schoolboys
with bright and promising potential, never realized because the wars took all that
away from them and us.  War destroys the youth and beauty and goodness of this world.
When will we all wake up and understand that war and competition will never solve
the problems that must inevitably engulf us all?

War is a distraction so that we will have something to do
while a greater destruction is in the planning process.
May the Lord have mercy on all of the people who are bound to be destroyed
in the next wave of crises. I wish I knew how to stop the tragedies of life.

  1. How easily and quickly loved ones are lost, and how lonely it is when they are gone. Is it really better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?
